New JnG Defensive Pistol League
Starts Thursday, August 21st
What is NSR?: Non-Standard Response
- Introduces randomly flagged targets that require additional hits
- Breaks the habit of always shooting targets only twice
- Creates dynamic, reactive shooting under pressure
- Forces reloads that cannot be staged or planned in advance
Standard League Format for All Divisions:
- 9 targets per stage (not 10)
- Tactical order of engagement
- Magazine limits:
- Pistol: 11-10-10 round limit per mag
- Carbine: Fully loaded magazines allowed (up to 31 rounds)
- Pistol gear requirements:
- Strong-side holster
- Weak-side magazine pouches
- No Cover Required
- Battle Belts Allowed
- Minimum caliber: 9mm or higher
- .22 caliber competes in the Outlaw Division
- All standard JnG rules apply
NSR Division Details:
- All standard JnG rules and gear still apply
- Two new divisions:
- Pistol NSR
- Carbine NSR
- 3–5 targets per shooter will be randomly flagged as NSR, requiring additional hits
- Round counts will vary per shooter based on NSR targets assigned
- Each stage requires 2 reloads
- NSR target identification:
- NSR targets will be explained during the stage walkthroughs
- Number and Location of NSR Targets will be Randomized
- Adjustments will be made during the league as needed to keep things from becoming predictable
